About Us
Equestrian Woods is a little piece of paradise located in unincorporated Lemont Township just 35 minutes from downtown Chicago. Our 1-acre lots are nestled in the woods with access to miles and miles of forest preserve trails where residents can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, cross country skiing and horseback riding all year long. The  Forest Preserve District of Cook County , with more than 68,000-acres, is the largest forest preserve in the United States.

Equestrian Woods is home to a historic, active 100+ year-old, horse farm and is a stone's throw away from several area golf courses including Cog Hill, home of the famous Dub's Dread.  Residents here share the open spaces with herds of deer, flocks of birds, geese and wild turkeys, packs of coyotes and other little, furry creatures.

The nearby village of Lemont offers all the necessary services as well as several excellent shopping and dining options.  Traveling to Chicago and other suburbs is a snap as our residents have easy access to Rte. 83, I-55 and I-355.

We enjoy our close-knit community.  It is not unusual to see a horse-drawn sleigh or hay wagon traveling through our streets.  You might even see Santa and Mrs. Claus, on horseback, greeting neighbors for the holidays.
